I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much we appreciate your taking the time to teach a class on Saturday. Your involvement was key to educating and empowering the members of the community we all serve! The Pro Bono Week team has already received numerous heartfelt comments of appreciation. I have been an attorney for several years, so it was so refreshing to meet Ms. Ivie at an Expungement Workshop where she was volunteering her legal services to train volunteers for an upcoming Expungement clinic. The purpose of the clinic was to assist members of the community get their criminal records dismissed. Ms. Ivie was extremely personable, pleasant and most importantly had an expert knowledge of the subject matter. On the day of the clinic I watched in admiration as she explained the expungement process to the public and treated each individual which such heartfelt respect. I can confidently say that no matter what your legal challenge, Ms. Ivie will help you in finding a resolution or help point you in the direction of someone who will.
